Families Leading the Way to Better Support
Families, especially those with children who have developmental delays or disabilities, often find it hard to get the help they need. The programs and services meant to support them—like early childhood education, healthcare, or developmental screening—can be confusing, overwhelming, or not designed with families in mind.
Together, we can change this by listening to families, learning from their experiences, and building support systems that are welcoming, easier to navigate, and truly work for every family.

Working Side-by-Side with Families
We work side-by-side with families to make early childhood programs and services better for families—especially when it comes to child development and getting help early. Together, we’re making sure families feel supported during the most important years of their child’s life.

Supporting Family Leadership
We help families grow their confidence, build skills, and take on leadership roles. Families can join trainings, share ideas, and receive a thank you gift for sharing your time and ideas.

Building Community & Belonging
We bring families together in friendly, welcoming spaces to share stories, learn from each other, and feel part of a caring community.

Driving Real Change
We make sure family voices lead to real results, so families see how their stories and ideas improve programs and make systems better for everyone.
Join the Family Experience Network
The Family Experience Network (FEN) is a group of Colorado families, caregivers, and people with disabilities working together to improve support for young children’s health and wellbeing, and the people who care for them. FEN makes sure families’ voices lead to real change—so you can see how your stories and ideas help shape services, improve support for other families, and create better experiences for everyone.
